Vineuse Hâtive Peach
Giclee reprint of an original drawing from Pomologie Française: Recueil des plus beaux fruits cultivés en France, a monumental four-volume botanical masterpiece published in Paris in 1846 by Langlois et Leclercq, written and overseen by the prominent French botanist and horticulturist Pierre-Antoine Poiteau. Considered one of the finest illustrated pomological works ever created, the folio contains 420 brilliant illustrations documenting France's rich variety of cultivated fruits.
The Vineuse hâtive is a historical French cultivar of peach prized during the 19th century.
